British luxury menswear brand New & Lingwood collaborates with Lisa King for London Craft Week 2024. Together they have created a capsule showcase of garments using reworked vintage textiles, which will be displayed for London Craft Week, from 13th - 19th May 2024.

Lisa has worked with New & Lingwood’s Creative Director Tom Leeper to reimagine New & Lingwood’s signature pieces, using Lisa’s unique Indonesian batik fabric collection, all expertly crafted by the atelier on Jermyn Street, fusing British tailoring with Southeast Asian cloth & craftsmanship.

The pieces will be on display at New & Lingwood’s neighbourhood store on Chiltern Street for the duration of Craft Week.

On uncovering a vast archive of Thai, Indonesian & Japanese textiles left to her by her late mother, Lisa embarked upon a journey to find out the story behind the fabrics and felt inspired to honour the striking collection by incorporating batik, the art of wax-resist dyeing into her own textile practice.
